KID ROCK & LYNYRD SKYNYRD: ROCK & REBELS TOUR

Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd are teaming up once again, this time for the summer Rock & Rebels Tour.

Rock is touring in support of his No. 1 2007 release Rock 'N' Roll Jesus, which has now sold more than 4 million albums worldwide. His new single from that album is the tune "Blue Jeans and a Rosary."

Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame inductees Lynyrd Skynyrd have sold more than 30 million albums in their long career. The band's most famous song, "Sweet Home Alabama," has been downloaded as a ringtone more than 2 million times. This month, Lynyrd Skynyrd inked a deal with Loud & Proud/Roadrunner Records, who will release their new effort later this year. "We're busy putting the finishing touches on our next record, being produced by Bob Marlette and can't wait for the fans to hear it," says singer Johnny Van Zant. "Our brother Billy Powell recorded six tracks before his sudden passing and we are confident he'd be very happy with the end result."
